Farming for the Future
At atmo, we help farmers get curated decarbonization projects that can be financed and increase purchase prices.
Agriculture is on the front lines of climate change, but you, as a farmer, also hold the keys to powerful solutions. By adopting regenerative agriculture techniques – like reducing tillage, planting cover crops, or improving manure management – you can cut emissions or capture carbon in your soil and get more for your product.
Key benefits for farmers
Support & Expertise
You’re not alone in this. Our AI will propose curated projects that make sense for your farm using your data – whether it’s improved grazing practices, feed additives for livestock, or smarter fertilizer use. We provide tools and advice, so you know what works best for you.
Improve Your Farm’s Business
The same practices that reduce emissions can also improve your soil health and yields. We follow carbon buyer program requirements and help calculate the potential revenue your farm could earn from these practices. It’s productivity and sustainability, with a clear financial lens.
No Out-of-Pocket Cost
Joining atmo is free for farmers. We help find financing (from banks and corporate partners) to cover upfront costs of certain improvements. You shouldn’t have to shoulder the cost of climate action – you should profit from it.
How it works
Step 1 - Sign Up & Upload Data
Register your farm on the atmo platform, which takes only 2 minutes. Provide your farm’s carbon data – e.g. your typical practices, farm size, yields – so we understand where you’re starting.
Step 2 - Choose Sustainable Practices
atmo will recommend decarbonizing projects tailored to your farm data. We provide key information: project cost, project supplier, potential new revenue. You decide what to implement – we handle the heavy lifting of quantifying the impact.
Step 3 - Implement & Monitor
Once you decide on a decarbonisation project, we will forward your data for the loan application. We would also inform your selected supplier who may request further information to measure improvements – always coordinating with you to avoid disruption.
Step 4 - Verification
As the project completes, we compile the data to calculate how much CO₂ emissions you reduced or sequestered. All parties will be satisfied knowing the project is complete and that your compensation for your goods can be increased.
